Appreciate the Mundane

Tea Kettle
Tea Kettle

I am reposting this blog I had done a while ago because I like it and I haven’t posted any thing in over a week.  I am working on a short story which I hope will be done soon but in the meantime, I am taking the Blogging 201 class again and trying to keep up!   I thought this would be a nice repost even though it is a bit mundane.

There is nothing more mundane than the tea kettle!  At least that’s my opinion.  But I love it all the same, mundane  though it may be.  I use it each and every day, in fact, several times a day, for my favorite cup(s)  of green tea. I also drink regular tea but sometimes it’s too strong for me and it upsets my stomach.

I used to drink coffee and tea but the coffee was too much for my delicate belly, so that went the way of all things I couldn’t have.  Thank goodness there are so many kinds of green tea.  There’s decaf which sometimes I have in the evening, and there’s green tea with white tea, which is so smooth and I think that is my favorite of all.

But through it all the trusty tea kettle is there with its whistle to call me from wherever I am in the house to make my cup of tea.  What would we do without all the mundane things we use on a constant basis?

    1. To the best of my knowledge you have to join before the start date of 7/20/15 for the class. Then you receive an email each weekday until the class ends with the info for that day. They (Word Press) link you up to the Commons so that you can chat and share with one another during the classes. Blogging 201 the Commons is a two week class which ends 7/31/15. You can always join the next class. Hope this helps.

      1. Thanks. I participated in Writing 101 from the beginning. But I did not see anything about Writing 201 until you mentioned it. The first round (101) was fun. I don’t like to let too much time go between posts, and all those assignments really got me moving.

      2. Yes, I like to take the classes on different subjects, keeps one motivated and in the loop. Good they (Word Press) have classes on a continuing basis! Good luck!
