Grannie flying for IF

One more kick and Super Grannie will be flying up there with the birds.

This is a character I invented and am planning on using in a possible cartoon series.

Thought I’d introduce her and see how she goes over.  No pun intended.

Please let me know what you think.  Do you like her or ???

germs

My version of the millions of germs on their merry way out of our mouths.

So be careful out there!

“Cautious” is the key!

August 25, 2009

Although the Lion looks relaxed and even lazy, the Liontamer had better be cautious with his actions. Ya never know!

The word for this week’s Illustration Friday is “Idle.”
This is part of an oil painting I did which depicts a boy sitting on a bench in the sun enjoying a popsicle.
Who wouldn’t want to be doing that right now in the July heat?

This week’s word for Illustration Friday is “Worn.”

This graphite sketch I did with pastel background of a chimp reminds me of a worn out little old man.

contagiousif-1

The word for this week’s Illustration Friday is “Contagious.” We are in the new “Swine” flu frenzy so I sketched someone who is sneezing like there’s no tomorrow. That means he is not covering his mouth or even try to conceal his germs. Too many people are doing the same thing.

Barara Streisand

The word for this week’s Illustration Friday is “Legendary.”

I think we can all agree that Barbara Streisand is, if nothing else, “legendary.”

Eh wot old chap?  Here is a sketch I did of her recently.  To be more precise a caricature.

Her nose of course is also legendary.

The word for this week’s Illustration Friday is “breezy.”

Here is part of a painting I did in acrylic, after Monet. I think it fits the word breezy. What do you think?

Monkey's Instinct

Monkey's Instinct

The word for this week’s Illustration Friday is “instinct.” I was flipping thru my sketchbook and came across this sketch and decided to color it and submit for the word “instinct.”

Monkey’s instinct to eat and especially for bananas is well known. So here is Matilda the Monkey.
